I think its a good idea to plan ahead especially if you need to work out a savings plan. You'd need to check with the colleges directly as not many places offer a level 4 course. I did a stand alone level 4 colour correction unit but the college I went to didn't offer a full level 4 course.

If you can afford the time/fees, personally speaking, I recommend attending specialist training run by the colour Academies such as Wella, L'Oreal etc. or Toni & Guy, Sassoon, Hobs, rather than college after gaining your basic qualifications. I easily learnt far more from them than my level 3. I know others have said the same on here too.
