opaque powders ... application problem?

Hi

Just been trying out my new opaque powders and am finding im having some application problems.

Im still new to all thisonly having qualified last month, however, am finding that the finished look is quite patchy and wishy washy looking .... almost as if its thicker in some places and then in others alot thinner.

I am consious of trying not to place the product on too thick but when I go for the thinner application method thats where I think im getting the patchy effect.

Are these powders more tricky to grasp than the normal sheer colours?

Any help /advice etc please .....

This sounds like a mix ratio problem to me, especially as you're relatively new to nails...... The opaque powders do work differently to the translucent ones, but I think this is showing inconsistency in your mix ratio hence the inconsistent results.

If you even out your mix you'll even out the patchiness.
