Brilliant Link Martin what an excellent article and says what I was going to say, but more concisely, that is that surely introducing oxygen creates free-radicals, something we are trying to repair the damage from when performing a facial.

I have a CACI Ultra, which besides microcurrent has ultrasound, high frequency & blue/red light treatments. I have used the blue light successfully on acne skins & on my own eczema - I have to say I've been pleased with it. However, I use it in tandem with the other modalities, so I can't say the results are purely down to the light therapy.
