Pamper Party Problem....

Hi Geeks,
Ok so I've been a Beauty Therapist for 6 years now, and thought why not make a bit extra money by going mobile other than working in the salon...

So I thought about doing pamper parties. My mum, bless her, said she would Host one for me as a practice run..

It started off as 6 people... 3 treatments each, 1 20min treatment and 2 mini treatments... (file & polish, ebw ect)
Anyway... I ended up doing 10 people... 30 treatments!!

Started at 5pm finished at 11.30pm and was... well... truely knackered!! But really enjoyed it and got lots of pennies.

So now i need some help.. I think 6 people max would be best, but im not sure what treatments to offer, wether do just do 2 and charge £20 or what.

What do you guys offer for your parties..?

And,.... do you tint? I have never tinted without doing a patch test...
But a few people on the night wanted one, i though i could have made a bit more money having this as an extra option...

Well done for coping on your own for that!!!

I personally wouldnt do a tint without a patch test, you could get them to sign a disclaimer but I dont think your reputation or insurance is worth doing that. How about doing the patch test for them on the night, they sign a form to say they had it and you could maybe tint them at a later date (sorry I dont know you're set up) as in offer them a discount/voucher to have it done outside of a pamper party.

We charge £20 for two 15 min treatments, or £20 for a 30 min treatment. These could be tans, neck and shoulder massage, face and scalp massage, mini facial, lower leg and foot treatment, hand and arm treatment, eyebrow wax, file and paint (the list is endless). When I was first training this was how I started out, I got so busy I roped one of the students a year below me into helping out on the night, for an agreed sum of money, and we were always busy on these evenings.

Hi I offer 1 30 min treatment for £15 a goody bag each and if over 5 guests the host is free. A max of 8. But have put on my website numbers can be discussed, as i have a friend who is a nail tech who is happy to join me if she is free and do half of a big party. So maybe see if there is another therapist near you who may like to help.
I offer, mini Indian head massage, back neck and shoulder. Mini mani Mini Pedi, spraytan or Minx. Hth.xx

All good idea's for the pamper parties.
For the tint, why not do a patch test on the night and then they can have the tint on THEIR pamper party night. It gets the bookings in and on the next one the girls get to see a tint done which will hopefully get them to have a patch test etc.:hug:
