Paraffin wax and Shellac manicure?

So, I've got a client in tomorrow for a luxury paraffin wax with shellac, and I was just wondering what order to do it in? I was thinking of doing the shellac manicure as usual then once the shellac is done, go on to do the exfoliation, paraffiin wax and massage to finish? Saves having to dehydrate the nail after nourishing it with the creams and paraffin wax?

Yes in that order. If you do it the other way the Shellac won't adhere to the nail as it will be too soft. I always do my Paraffin treatments after Shellac.

thanks for all the help! I did do it in that order and kinda preferred it - finishing on the hand/arm massage rather than doing the nail colour

When you do this do you do the brush on method and avoid the actual nail plate or do any of you do the dip the hand in method?

I use the brush on method, my salon doesnt have the heater for dipping the hand in.
