I did a client last night who had, and this is the only way I can describe them, pear shaped nails. They were very wide at the cuticle and narrow at the free edge. The free edge ran right down the side of her nails, so she had virtually no sidewalls.

I always sculpt, so tried for half an hour to get forms to fit, no chance, wasn't happening! Ended up using tips and building slightly higher apex to make them appear narrower.

She was delighted and I was so exhausted i had to lie down!!!

Did i do the right thing, has anyone had this before?

Never ran into that one before, but it sounds like you did it just right to me ;)

You should take a picture next time! :)
