Hi,

I'm not sure if this is in the right place as I am a skin geek but it's a question about my own skin.

I've had a pearl-like white bump under the skin on my palm for a few weeks now and it shows no signs of going away. I've had warts in the past and it doesn't look like one. It's occasionally tender if I catch it but otherwise it's generally painless. It's close to the web of my finger and thumb. I know it's impossible to "diagnose" without seeing it but I just wondered if anyone could offer any suggestions that I may be able to google? I've not found anything like it online yet and I really don't want to bother my doctor as it's not doing me any harm.

Many thanks!

It may be a ganglion. Look it up and see if they have any similarities.

That's what I was thinking, then made the mistake of looking on google images. Why do I always do that ;)
