Hi,

I was looking for advice on pedicures bowls. Which ones are best? Electric, normal plastic ones with inserts or copper bowls?

Thanks

Just use a foot spa x

Brilliant thanks :) x

Foot spas are good but you have to really make sure you clean them well, their are a couple on the market with disposable liner which are fab, you can keep them for each client, just name them or leave with them or dispose of if you wish and easier to clean.. Or a nice bowl, I have plain washing up bowls (square) in pink and black with glittery bits for standard pedis and for luxury use a spa one... But I do plan to get the liner one in the future.

The resin ones are beautiful too, but cost wise pricey and very heavy :)

Do you use sterilising tablets to clean the normal foot spa's? X

I put hot soapy water in and scrub round, I then use a long handled brush and give another good scrub round, I then empty and rinse few times with very hot water, I then add my disinfectant and more water and turn on quickly, then I empty rinse and dry. I also give a spray when client has arrived so she can see its clean and then fill.

Brilliant thanks very much x
