Pedicure stones help!

Hiya! I'm looking to change from a footspa to a bowl with some basalt stones at the bottom,but I don't know how many I would need.They have them at Beauty Express,8 medium or 8 large,but I don't know which ones to order.
Any Advice would be fab!!

Those basalt stones are for if you are using them to massage the foot. If you are just wanting heated stones in the bottom of your basin for heat and for the clients foot comfort--you just need polished stones or even the decorative glass balls used in floral arrangements. I keep a whole crock pot full to keep warm and add about two cups worth to the foot bath.
