if so is the training any good?

Hi hun, I havent done any training with them but i KNOW few geeks on here have if you try in the search option I am sure you will find what your looking for ...xxxx

hey thanks for the reply suzie ive read quite a few of the threads already and had a look at the training site and the prices are good and it isnt that far from me....is babtac good enough?

Hi ya. Yes! I am currently doing my NVQ Level 2 there and just completed my spray tan course at their Tamworth branch. So far i have found the staff, facilities and tuition extremely good. Would defo recommend.

Also, they are just over the way (or upstairs in Tamworth) from a beauty/hair wholesalers and I did like the fact that when you have finished, say for instance, your spray tan course, the staff advise you on the different ranges of products but nothing is ever 'sold' to you, if you know what I mean, they leave it up to you whether or not you purchase anything from there.

So far 10/10. Hope this helps. JulieL x

At the end of the day you get what you pay for, pay cheap, pay twice! £250 for 4 days is really cheap and I wonder what you will get for that and how many will be on the course.

Does it include kit?

it says on their website they only allow 8 people on the course at a time so they can give people more attention no this price does not include the kit you aparently use their equipment and can try out different products then when you go to a wholesalers across from the training academy you can purchase kits and extras

I would normally agree with Cathie in that you get what you pay for but in this instance, I have to disagree. I've done courses both in Canada (where I'm from originally) and a few here in the UK and I was lucky enough to discover Pink's. I initially signed up for a course there because it's nice and close (driving on the left is still a bit scary for me!) and I have nothing but positive things to say abt the place, really. I've tried to figure out why the prices are so good and the only thing I can think of is that they probably save on rent as the academy is based in an industrial unit (although you wouldn't think so when you're inside). The instructors are great, very experienced and are there for support after the courses. The classes are small, there's a lot of different products to try out and there isn't any pressure to spend on products if you don't want to. All in all, I would definitely recommend the place.

hey minnieb, what training courses did you do at pinks training academy?
if i decide to do the course i would like to do the 3 day beginner course with manicure which makes it 4 days in total.....2 days acrylic 1 day gel and obv the other day the manicure for £250 its really good deals and what they offer seems so tempting lol the only problem is travel really as i wouldnt want to stay in derby for 4 days unless i pair up with someone and do the same course and pay them petrol money
