Podiatrist offering Botox

Was just wondering as there are quite a few opinions noted on the forum already regarding the whole botox subject and should bt's be allowed to inject.

Well i was rather surprised to see in town earlier that the local podiatrist is now offering botox as she has completed her supplementary prescriber course, and is therefore able to offer it as a treatment to her clients.

You cannot prescribe botox as a supplementary prescriber as you can only prescribe within a clinical management plan which has to be drawn up between the patient, doctor and supplementary prescriber. Clinical management plans are only designed for long term conditions of which cosmetic indications are not one of them! If you have reported competition for advertising botox, definitely report this podiatrist who works with blooming feet!!
