Hoping a techincal gerk can help (well more techincal than me amyway he he)

I am putting a tv in the salon - has a place to use a usb

Ideally i would like to have a power point type thing going on , lije a constant changing screens of things about the salon (prices/pictures etc)

Would a power point work or would it need to be in a different format???

Depends on the tv.
You might be better with several images put on it and set it to auto play each one and continue going round. This again depends on tv.

I'm pretty sure through a tv won't be able to read PowerPoint files.

you would need to save onto a DVD and loop it or maybe just use a large LCD/PC screen

Thanks geeks (not gerks as my op lol)

Not got a dvd player on the tv and wont be getting one as i hate all the wires lol!!

I have no idea of the spec of tv ... is just an lg.

I watch films/photos etc through the usb.. maybe i should try .jpeg??

Lol im soooo useless at things like this he he !!

Yep try .jpeg and see if it continues to loop round. May need to play with few settings and make sure nothing else but the images you want are on the there.
