I know this is probably a really stupid question, but I have one of those plastic bent index practice fingers, and I was wondering how does everyone else use them? How do you get the L&P to stick to it etc.?

I had a rubber plastic practice hand and I found that the extensions didn't fit the fingers and the acrylic used to slide about.
Practising on friends and family was the best way I found.

On one day of my nail extension course I was using a marigold filled with rice that had false nails glued onto the fingers, then applying tips & acrylic/gel to those... It also allows you to carry out infills & rebalancing when you want to practice. I had been using real models but due to the last model having tender bitten nails the marigold came in handy! Great practice for your techniques and nail art!!
