Hi everyone,

I hope you can help me....i've started doing pamper parties and charge £10 for 25 min treatments which include back massage.

I am going to a ladies house tomorrow (29th june) and she has given me a list of what treatments everyone wants.... the only thing from the pamper party list they want is back massage, the rest want waxing (which i'll charge as normal) and full body massages.

This is where my problem is, I explaned to her about the treatments I offer for a pamper party and therefore back massage being £10 (normally £15), so how much should I charge for full body massage (normally £30).

I work it so that rthe host usually gets there treatment free (one off the £10 list of course) but she wants a full body massage too.....so how much to cgharge???!!!

Very confused. Gemma x

Why not get in contact with her and explain that...... the host's free treatment is one of the folowing...............if you were wanting to have the full massage it wouldnt be a problem and you could do so at the cost of .........which includes the reduction in price to the same value of the free treatments offered, as host of the party, alternitevely should you want to have one of the hosts free treatments just let me know what treatment you woudl like.....many thanks.....looking forwards to meeting you all......

If the hosts tratment is normaly to the value of £10/15, I would charge the differene £15/20 for the full treatment,

I learnt the hard way about offering massage at a discounted rate at parties. You end up sore for only a little money. In the end I offered the full price but a shorter massage i.e £15 for 15 mins. I would think a full body massage would not be suitable for a party as it takes so long. I would personally say full body massages are not available at a party as you would not be able to give the proper pressure massaging so much. Suggest she books it in on another night when there won't be any interruptions as it just won't be relaxing with others around. If you decide to do it I would charge her £25 if you feel you have to offer her a discount, as I assume your full body massage lasts 4x longer than the free treatment she would get.

You have to make it clear to pamper parties about timings and possible treatments as people do faff and mess you around especially in big groups! I would also get them to each pay before you do the treatment to avoid any misunderstandings!
