Just looking for some opinions really.

I would love to switch to a primerless L & P system and was just wondering what experiences good or bad others have had with them and which systems in particular you've used.

Any input appreciated

Hi :)

I use Creative Retention+ which is primerless.

I also use young nails which uses primer.

I dont really see the difference as with creative I use scrubfresh and with young nails just the primer (not sure if they have a 'scrubfresh' type product but I've never been told about one).

Oh one difference is that the primer smells yukky lol.

Creative is a great brand though, I'd recommend trying it but ive only tried the two brands :)

My opinion is that the least steps you have to take during preparation the better it is for the natural nails.

Creative have always supported a gentle prep routine for the natural nails as the good health of the nail beneath the enhancement should be of paramount importance to all of us who are in charge of preserving the good health or our clients nails.

If you are in Leeds then pop into Sweet Squared with your certificate and purchase a Try Me Kit. Try it .... You'll see!

If you learn to prep the CND way and then use any of their primer less liquid monomers (Radical, Retention+ or Moxie) then you will experience a stronger product bond to the nail plate than you can get with anything else, healthy nails beneath the enhancements you create, and one less product to buy.

Hi

I've used CND Ret+, EZFlow High Def (primerless) and I now use EZflow Q+A which uses primer. Personally I would opt for CND Ret+ over Ezflow High Def - which is quite tricky in my opinion.:)

xx

Young Nails have a product called swipe which you use just before the primer. x

EzFlow HD and Nail Creation Platinum are both primerless.
hth

Swipe huh, I've never heard of it lol, ill have to ask my boss about that one :)

geeg you mentioned Radical as a primerless liquid. I thought you used primer with this one? In our kits we got a small bottle of Radical and a bottle of primer to use with this? Well thats what I was told. Set me straight if this is wrong please :)

Hold on hold on!! Lets get this straight.

BOTH Radical and Retention+ are primerless liquid monomers.

BOTH work wonderfully well without using any primer.

I have used Radical liquid for over 10 years and I have never used primer with it ever.

I use Radical when I need really tough enhancements for those who are very heavy handed and Retention for most everyone else UNLESS I want a super fast set and then I use Moxie which is also primerless.

You have the OPTION to use primer with all of these liquids if you feel the need for super dehydration ... I never have.

Thanks for your input geeks - much appreciated.

I really think that taking this step out will help a lot. It usually takes me quite some time as i'm so careful applying primer with it being so nasty to skin (plus i'm kinda clumsy with knocking things over).
