Hi, has anyone done aairbrushing course that was good value for money but was also a quality course, for example you got a certificate at the end of it?

If so, could you let me know, thanks!

PM Rachel (aka Chocolate) at K-Sa-Ra (website under links) who runs Nail Art & Airbrushing courses from her training centre in Kent.

have you taken part in one of these courses? id just like to find a good one, as they are alot of money as are the products to go with it, but the finishing look of airbrushed nail art is quite cool so id like to add it to my cv!

thanks, i'll take a look at the site.

a lot of geeks on here have also done the Essential Nails home learn Airbrush Course www.essentialnails.com

xx

edit; you can pay in 4 installments too!!

thanks, i have looked at their website before, and i am interested in the airbrushing course, unfortunately they are over £300 and i just cant afford that at the moment, maybe when i get more clients under my belt i might do it!

Alot of the Geeks have trained with Rachel, she's a great teacher and her airbrushing is fab.

Oakey doke thanks, i will take a look. its one thing i really want to do, as nail art is a big interest of mine, and i know alot of people like it more than freehand nail art. does it work out cheaper in the longrun to do airbrush on a client? its obviously quicker but...?

I don't have a big demand from my clients for nail art or airbrushing and I would advise anyone new to the industry not to invest too much in those services unless they are refusing clients for not offering them.

Yes, that makes alot of sense actually, as i havent turned anyone down for the airbrushing, but once i have completed an acrylics course im sure alot of my clients will want them airbrushed so maybe i will do it at the same time.

thanks for your advice x

I was going to do the Essential Nails Airbrushing Conversion Course, Got all the kit & just couldn't get stuck into it so am now selling mine on Ebay. I'm sure it is a great qualification but not for me.

I was looking to do the airbrush course aswell as acrylic and gel, do you already have it in ebay or are you looking for a specific price?

Thanks,

Rachel

Hi Rachel, It's on Ebay now but with a reserve price which with P&P costs £219.50. I am willing to sell it for £200 including P&P. Hope this helps
This does not come with the nail trainer hand.

Hi, was just wondering how much the kit and everything cost you originally? x

It cost me £349. Hope this helps.

was asking out of interest, but to anyone who is wanting to buy one of those yours sounds like a bargain if you paid that much for it originally, wish i had £200 spare! x

the thing is when you buy a second hand essential nails course they charge you £95 to transfer it & get the online tuition/certificate etc- even if its never been opened!!
so its hard to save money when buying a second hand one unless its really cheap xxxxxxxx

Hi, thanks for getting back to me,it says on ebay that I would need to pay £95 to get the course in my name. I actually work for a company who specialise in the same sort of thing and know that this can be a problem when you come to get the qualification. I need to sort out the other courses first so should probably do that.

Thanks for letting me know anyway and good luck on ebay!!

Rachel.

I have actually advertised on Ebay that you have to Pay £95 to transfer the course. I Think a saving of £50 is quite good though.
