Question for LVL technicians

I have my LVL training later this month and just received the patch test that I have to do on myself. This made me wonder:
1. how do you patch test the color on your clients, do you use the tint itself or do you need to buy colourstart cards?
2. I have read that you can put all the lotions on a plaster/band-aid and pop it in the mail to the client. Do you use a plaster for each lotion or just one plaster?

I hope all this will be explained during the course and maybe I am trying to run before I can walk but if anyone can already answer my questions I would really appreciate it!

Hi Minouche.
You can use the tint directly onto the client, either behind their ear or on their wrist.
You use a small seperate plaster for each product.
And yes, don't worry. It is a fantastic course they will explain everything to you, in depth. And the trainers are more than happy to answer any questions you may have, if they haven't already been covered in the course. X
