I used to have black hair for 9 years but earlier this year decided to have it dyed back to my natural colour which is brown. The hairdresser did an amazing job, it came out quite dark brown but now I would like to go lighter.
The problem is as this colour washes out after few weeks my hair is all different colour (brown, red, orangey) only at the top it stays nice and brown.
I said to her I want to go lighter (light brown) but she said it will not come out nice as my hair is different colour at the top and different down the length.
Does this make sense?
Is she right and is there any way I could go lighter as I really want to?
