Just have a couple of quick questions before I press checkout !

Is it necessary to use the base and top coats?

Do you really need to use the removal wraps? Can I just use the classic pad & foil to remove them?

To start with I will only be using them on myself as I am very new to all this !

Your quick replies will be gratefully received :)

Hi there

In my opinion, yes you would need the base & top coats I think as reading some previous posts others can tend to crack etc.

I also remember reading that pads and foil are fine to use to remove, but if its Sweet Squared you are placing your order with they are great, I placed my order through them and had loads of questions which they answered for me.

yes you need to base and top coat

removal wraps are very classy but in my opinion not totally necessary you can use foil, the wraps just look and work fantastic.

my advice get every colour available that you can afford cos you will love it!!! I have just ordered my 2nd kit:D

Thanks for your replies :D

Nearly finished palcing my order, keeping changing my mind over which colour I want !

With the lamp, can it be used with NSI Gels? I rang them today and they said as long as it is 9 watt or more then yes I can use any lamp, but I read each system should use its own lamp? And I have read that CND lamps arent like normal lamps, is that correct?

I currently own a 9 watt & a 14 watt, it would be nice to get rid of these and just have the new CND lamp.

This is exactly what Im trying to find out, I have a 9 watt lamp that I use to cure the final NSI glaze & co layer on my acrylics and would like to just have my Shellac lamp on the desk if possible.

:D Heather

Hopefully someone will come along and point us in the right direction !

These questions have been answered in the many Shellac threads posted already.

You absolutely NEED to use the whole Shellac system which means using the top coat and the base coat ... Why ever would you not? For successful product performamce you also must use the CND UVLamp ( which ever CND model you currently have) or the new five finger cure model.

Geeg

Sorry if I'm not understanding you correctly and keep going on about this, but my question wasn't about CND products, my question was:-

will my new Shellac lamp also cure the final NSI glaze & go layer that I do on my acrylic extensions so I dont have the need for two lamps??

The answer is you Can do anything. Is it recommrnded that you do so? NO it is not. If product performance suffers then blame the wrong lamp for the system NOT the system.
