Hello,

Im a mobile spray tanner. This week has probably been the worst week so far, completely dead! Thursday is usually my busiest day but so far i have no bookings! Maybe due to all the rain and horrible weather we have had up here in Cumbria but still :( its depressing! How has your week been?

I have a group on Facebook with about 460 members, (i have sent messages to all group members b4 and i usually get a few bookings from it) I want to send out a message/reminder today to everyone but dont know what to say, i have already sent special offers b4 and dont want to give anymore discounts or else i will start looking too cheap or desperate....any ideas??

Just need a little reminder or something to create some interest/bookings for the end of the week....please help? xxx

I have been really quiet this week too. Had no bookings for this week until yesterday I got 2. Think it is just the time of year and the weather, everyone is all covered up.
No idea what to write on your facebook page. Some people were suggesting just to put your web address as your status as a gentle reminder that you are still there. Also their friends may see it if it appears on their home page.
Hope things pick up soon, sure they will with christmas approaching xx

yeh me 2, im just abit impatient, get a panic on when it goes really quiet! lol hopefully will book something by the end of the day. xx

I like the idea of putting your web address as a comment on Facebook during quiet times.

Another thing you can do is talk about your products and services such as: "got some new 'brand' tanning lotion in this week, look forward to having you come and try it out"

:green:

Hi, you could maybe send a message out to your members saying something along the lines of...Its almost the weekend make sure you look your best this friday/saturday night and treat yourself to a spray tan, the weathers is all gloomy but brighten your weekend up with a glowing tan! This just might get people thinking about your service and will remind them your still there and hopefully entice people into booking!
Hope this helps!

i know you said you didnt wanna give any more special offers but....

someone told me this trick and it worked wonders for us last week.

we text and emailed all our clients and said "we only have a few appointments left this weekend, if you are lucky enough to snap them up we will give you a 10% discount so we can fill these last spaces!" of course, our whole day was empty but by the end of the day it had been the second best day for takings we had ever had.

i also put in the message, feel free to pass this on to your friends! we did well becasue although we were giving the discount, people ended up spending as much if not more because they thought "if im saving on my cut and colour, i will buy that shampoo ive wanted"

good luck, we were terribly quiet last week, this week is looking better though. xxx

Brill, will do that today! I advertised the product we sell on facebook, had about 6 enquiries straight away which was ok. Roll on party season! thanks for your help! xx

When you say product you sell do you mean the brand of tan you use?
