Hi geeks I am thinking of doing reflexology

Has anyone done the course? How popular is it for you

Are you glad you did it??

Thanks xx

I've been doing reflexology for 18 years and it's my favourite and most popular treatment. The only thing I'd say is make sure you book a good course. There is a huge amount to take in and you need to do many hours of practical work too.

When you qualify there are lots of CPD courses you can then do which will help you choose where to specialise (for example, cancer care, maternity, palliative care).

I would definitely go for it though I'm probably a little biased as it is my absolute passion! 😄

Everything that Redduck says. My first love was reflexology and I get amazing results with it. An excellent treatment to offer.

I had seen a night course which runs

Oops didn't mean to send.. Yeah a night course 6 months but didn't want it to be another thing where its unpopular as hot stone massage for us we only do a couple a month xx

I started with reflexology too.i did a one year course and don't feel anyone could learn everything about Reflexology in less time than this as it is sooo complex, but so interesting. Even now 5 yrs on im still learning so I agree with what others are saying-make sure u get a good course. U can go down the holistic route or straight forward reflexology route, where they focus on the anatomy and physiology.i went for the holistic which teaches a&p as well as what may be going on, on an emotional level. I'm glad I went with that choice as reflexology isn't just another treatment, is more about overall wellbeing.

I know what you mean Helen, 18 years on I am still attending clinical reflexology courses and learning more.

There is so much to learn but a treatment which you can really use to make a difference to people.

Reflexology is my main therapy and it's very popular :)

Sorry to jump on but I'm looking for a reflexologist to come into my salon to offer treatments as a lot of my clients are asking about it. Are there any reflexology websites/forums where you can advertise positions?
Many thanks

Depends where you are. Association of reflexology is gd place to start or holistic directories

I did reflex diploma with ITEC and its a fantastic qualification.
I'd recommend getting treatments from different therapists to get an idea of the treatment x

Reflexology is one of my favourites, I agree with everyone that you need to do a decent course I did a year course and am still learning 4 years on
