I am a qualified, insured nail technician, and I specialise in Coloured Acrylic.
A new client came to me not to long ago and one of her fingers looked a bit red and inflamed, she had explained it could be she banged or caught her finger and after examining it it didn’t look sore or infected at the slightest, a week later she has contacted me to remove the infected nail but it looks sore and just infected in general. Wasn’t sure what to do, I don’t want to hurt my client by removing it or give her any discomfort. Also don’t want to make it worse.
What should I do?

We are not doctors, an infection should be referred to s doctor. If infected antibiotics will be required, once any infection has cleared removal will not be an issue.

Thank you I will contact her this!

Do not even attempt to do anything to her nails, send her to a doctor!
