Renting a Room / Paying Business Tax

Hi.

I rent a room within a building containing a few businesses including, Osteopath, Chiropractitioner, Organic Toiletries Retail etc etc.

Question is, do we all need to pay our own Business Rate Tax or are we covered as the building is owned by one person (a friend of mine)

I have had a panic this weekend! Nothing is written into my lease.
