i am seriously so new to this site - one question - how the heck do you check to see how many rep points you have or if you even have any at all?!
thanks a bunch!

click on "my profile" along the top, and theres a drop down menu, click "user control panel" and thats your rep points there :)

i must have none!! haha thanks for such a quick reply

I don't think i've got any either!! What are they for and how do you get them? I've cliked onto User Contol Panel and the page is blank, do i have to click on anything else or would it show if i had any??

Thanks,

Lucy xx

When you click on the user control panel scroll down and any rep points you've had will be listed along with the name of the person who gave them to you and why.
Rep points are given for many reasons, usually for a good point made or for being helpfull.

ok I checked and I got 180! what are they for? Are they used for something? Am a bit rubbish at computer things!

If you think someone has been helpful and given some good advice then you can click the little green box on the right of the thread.
If you want to report someone then you can click the red box.
Everytime someone gives you a rep you get extra little blue boxes, also on the right of your thread reply.
It's just a way for people to say thanks when someone has been helpful.
