Hey guys! I just wanted to ask those of you who are familiar with this type of waxing method a couple of questions. Firstly, how often do the roller heads need replaced? Is it a new head per client? If not, how do you clean them? And secondly, does the same apply to the wax cartidges with regards to a new cartidge per client? Sorry if this sounds stupid! I am a mobile therapist and find carting my wax pot around too much hassle and am just waiting for the day when it spills over my car! Thanks in advance, Christine

I am salon based and use pot and spatula but i do have a roller for legs. I use the Perron Rigot roller wax which has fixed heads so you just throw it away when used. The hand held part is insulated so keeps the wax warmer for longer. You do need 2 really though as you need to use the last bit of wax up in the cartridge and you don't want to run out.
I have tried cheaper wax cartridges but to be honest they come out much thicker so you probably end up paying the same.
My other beautician uses the clean and easy roller system and she fills her cartridges up. She does need to replace them every now and then as they start to bow after a while.
I know some people find that rollers can drag but i think that's usually with the roller heads that are ridged. The Perron Rigot ones are completely smooth and i've never had a problem with them but as i said, i only use them for legs.
The heads constantly have wax on them so whatever wax touches your clients-stays on your client. You can buy replacement heads though.

how does your beautician fill them up? And who distibrutes the perron rigot? X

She has 3 different size cartridges so she will pour wax from a larger cartridge into a smaller cartridge. You can buy wax in cartons and just pour this into the cartridges.
Thalgo supply Perron Rigot. You can contact them on 0207 512 0872

So much faster and no dripping
