I have been looking for a beauty room to rent.
I have come across several hairdressers with two beauty rooms. Both rooms are rented out to a self employed beauty therapists who offer the same treatments. Each take their own payments.
By having two therapist work in the same salon, this does not make any business sense to me as it is direct competition. How would you even share new clients fairly? I asked the owner this and they reply, each therapist has their own clientele and there has never been an issue before. This does not really answer my question.
Am i missing something? As this arrangement is common, I would like to understand how it can work? My business head tells me to avoid sharing and to make sure I can offer my beauty services exclusively.
