By the way my salon is a small but nice set up in a hotel, with no real "shop front"... i do a variety of beauty treatments and massage, as well as spray tanning and ear piercing....

hi, if you do a search on here you will find lots of ideas - just type offers into the search box and you'll be kept busy for hours..xx

Its definatley best to start preparing in advance, christmas cards with vocuhers in is an ideal way to get people in after christmas in january and special christmas offers will entice customers into your salon before christmas. Spray tans are always popular for christmas parties so maybe have an offer on them if you do them. Maybe also have special christmas package promotions to encourage people to have a number of treatments. Its also a good idea to promote gift vouchers as presents and to package some of your retail products in giftpacks as christmas presents too! Decorate your salon with a christmasy theme to remind people christmas is coming up when they enter your salon and to get them thinking about presents!

if your within a hotel could you not pop a welcome card into the rooms of the hotel for guests? For example you could pop on it your treatment menu and say hope you enjoy your stay or why not make your visit extra special by booking yourself in for that back massage you've been promising yourself for so long?

Hello could you get the staff on your side offer them discounted sprays for the christmas party or something like that. As they are local they will provide alot of client referals for the coming year. Why not put posters up in the staff room, and posters up where the guests will see them, you could also try putting posters up in the local area to let people know you are there too. Hope this helps xxx
