Salon Design, spacing of backwashes

I'm after some help

I am installing some new backwashes in my salon and was wondering can anybody advise a recommended spacing between each one ? I know for cutting stations it should be approx 4ft centre of mirror to centre of mirror, but is it the same for back washes ???

I'm not a hairdreser (but my sister is and has her own salon).
I think the same 4' would apply to backwashes as this would allow for different sizes of staff squeezing through the space and also whether they preferred to wash from the left of right.
Too close and clients might feel that their 'personal space' is being invaded.

I agree with the above. 4 foot sounds ample. Infact when I was training I think ours were even closer. :smack:
