im having a moment right now and could do with a bit of help..

im just getting insurance right now and there is an option for business equipment, is it necessary that i take it or just go with the basic? the insurance is for mobile tanning..

I am with Salon Gold and my first year I took out the extra cover for equipment and products. My reason was I did not know how much of my equipment or products I might be taking out at any one time (I do a few different treatments) so I wanted to ensure that I would be covered IF anything happened.

I decided on my renewal not to have the extra cover because the excess was more than I found myself having in the car at any one time which would mean it would be cheaper & easier to just replace the equipment & products myself than to make a claim on my insurance.

If your unsure ring them and ask them about the excess, the limits & exclusions they have on that extra cover and then make your mind up from there.
