Any tried and tested ways of improving the lighting in a salon?

We have tried a lamp but it just creates more shadows.

I'm not at the stage of redoing all of the main lights to put in strip lighting....have any of you found any successful interim solutions?

There are lights that sit in strings across the ceiling. If you fit the transformer near a display window, once you refit the lighting for the salon this can be moved so it goes down a wall to illuminate the windows here's a link to what they look like. http://m.screwfix.com/p/5-spotlight-lamp-track-system/92502

I know it's a permanent fitting, but can forever be modified with extra lamps attatched and the ones on there can be changed to change with styles so it's a good investment too xoxo

Thanks for the reply. The link didnt work.....are you able to upload a picture?

I'm also looking for better lighting...this looks great! Can you just confirm...is this wired to the main lighting, or is it plugged in like a lamp? Xxx
