Would I be able to get this in WHSmiths? I don't want to subscribe at the moment as I think there is quite a lot to get your head around when you are just starting but thought that if I could get it in Smiths every couple of months then it would be a start

I am not aware that you can.

Maybe you could contact them and ask for a sample copy just to see if it is what you are after.

SCRATCH IS A TRADE MAGAZINE FOR PROFESSIONALS ... it would not be sold in a public shop for consumers.

Scratch are very good at sending our back copies for customers to get a feel for it so as fiona says do ask them.

When I first started out I bought a couple copies off ebay belive it or not then I decided I wanted to subscribe.
Its a great magazine, you wont be disappointed x
