seche vitte restorer

Ive got a bottle of seche vitte top coat that has thickened so thought id try the seche vitte restorer.It doesnt say how to use it though.The top coat is about half full so how many drops of restorer do i use,do i shake it in and can it be used straight away.
Can it be used in other varnishes and does it affect the quality and longevity of the polish/top coat.

Add 3 or 4 drops of your restorer into the top coat, then after replacing the brush, gently roll the bottle between the palms of your hands.

I haven't tried adding it to any of my varnishes tbh, so can't answer that part of the question.
