My wife and I have stumbled upon a potential gold mine; we found a lack of specialized hair salons here in America. The problem is neither of us any the necessary skill to handle the salon without hiring employees. I have run my own company for six year with sustainable success.
In the past, have salon owners been able to handle such a venture without the skills themselves?
Any advice, knowledge, wisdom will be much appreciated.

There are non hairdessers that own salons however before you get too carried away if it was such a golden idea do you not think someone with extensive inside knowledge of the trade would have jumped in first? Without knowing what this amazing salon opportunity is it is difficult to advise you. It may or may not have been tried before.
So yes it is poss to buy in the expertise you need however it has proved many times in the past much more difficult for non industry people to jump into salon ownership.
