Ok so I think after 10+yrs of working in salons I'm ready to go self employed but im worried I do have private clients already but is it too risky and where to start.
I've thought off
-insurance
-crb check
-business number
-car
-equipment/products
-promoting myself(leaflet drops etc)
The treatments il be doing
-manicure, pedicure, eyelash/brow tints, waxing, tanning, ear piercing. Also thinking about pamper parties for children and adults.
With regards to ordering stock and equipment to put your expenses through at the end of a tax year does your stock have to come from industry companies, as sometimes I order things of ebay.
I've been offered to go on nea programme which il have a mentor to guide me towards a proper business plan which I can then get a loan if I'm accepted. If I do this il need a car I already have my licence if I got a car would it go through my business.
I feel lost and scared about doing this but in the end would be great as I'm a single parent.

Any help much appreciated
