Semi-Permanent Dyes

I naturally have blonde hair ... well sort of!
It gets bleached in the sun ... but i really want to dye it brown! Last night i used a non permanent colour and it turned it RED! Which wasnt expected! So tomorrow my friend who dyes her hair all the time is going to dye it brown for me using a semi permanent dye, but i am worried that my natural hair colour will never return unless i dye it back that colour!

Please help ...

you wont be able to get your natural colour back by dying it - i def wouldnt recommend doing it youself - but when you get bored of the brown you could get a hairdresser to splatter a few hilites in until the whole thing fades to a more natural colour for you
