Semi-Permanent Lash Extensions

Hi

Hello to everyone - I am new to this fab website although have been reading as a guest for a while now.

I trained as a makeup artist a couple of years ago and am now thinking about adding on Semi-Permanent Lash Extensions - but have a few questions which I' hoping you can help me with. I have done quite abit of research but with so much choice out there and lots of differences in what I have read I thought I'd come straight to the professionals:

• Have looked at Lash Perfect; Flirties; Amazing Lashes and Nouveau - anyone trained with any of these? Any preference? Is there anyone else you would recommend?
• Without giving too much away - what sort of additional income per annum can I expect to achieve?
• What is the average cost of a set of lashes? What about infills?
• What is the difference between mink lashes and the normal lashes - is there a difference in the application of them?
• How many lashes does an experienced technician apply to each eye?

Any other information which would help me would be great.

Would anyone recommend purchasing one of those manequinns to help with practise?

Hi Sarah
I currently charge around £75-85 for a set of lashes and do approx 5 sets a week but I only work evenings so it really depends on your hours. I charge around £35 for infills.
I would definitely recommend adding this treatment as it is becoming so popular.
The mannequins are good to practise on and to be honest I find it easier applying lashes to clients so if you can master this then your half way there - plenty of practise is the key.

I too am quite interested, and how long do they last, most only seem to last a week
