Hi all - for colours that are quite see through can you advise on how to obtain better coverage? 3-4 coats of colour or do some people do a white coat beneath? Thanks

Not necessarily white underneath as it can be too harsh and if you miss patches down the side walls it's looks awful, but I do sometimes use a more opaque pink/cream/nude as a base. Something that is similar in colour but much more opaque

I quite often use a neutral first colour coat.
I only use white if applying a neon powder next.
I prefer to use something like Powder my Nose which is close to skin tone. Some of the other nudes could be used too - depends on your clients colouring.

I often use a matching plain colour under the glittery colours such as butterfly queen
