Shellac and nail decals

Hi have seen some great nail decals on eBay and I wondered if you can do shellac polish and then your decals on top? If so how do you do it? The ones I have seen are water slide decals.
Also any pictures or ideas of decals and colours would be great.

Thanks.these were off ebay, so many to choose from too! Since seeing my nails ive had 2 clients wanting them and another lady wants butterflies.show us yours when you've done them x

I use them loads for a couple of clients. They're very easy to use. Soak in water then take off the backing & put the image on the tacky shellac layer. Allow to dry fully then topcoat.

Done my first decals ... Just on myself , polish is a week old so not perfect, just wanted to have a go.. Really easy.

The flowers are decals, and were applied over CND Shellac, using method previously mentioned.. I only had a problem with one nail (flower flaked). But I think it was because I must have missed a tiny bit when applying topcoat. But I did get 3 weeks out of them, then they were only removed because of re growth.

These decals pictured are vinyl with an adhesive and I absolutely love them as do my clients! I will complete the manicure, including the top coat, remove the tacky layer, apply the self adhesive decal and seal again with another topcoat.
I do the same with water slide decals and even make them myself. I purchase the special paper from ebay, print small designs as requested by clients on my printer at home and voila! Custom decals.
