Shellac on a nail cover

A client of mine told me the other day that she can't get shellac done on her nails because it weakens them but that she can when she goes to Portugal because the girl over there puts a sticker on the nail first to protect them and at the end of the 2 weeks she doesn't have to go back because she can peel them off herself and there's no damage then underneath. Has anyone heard of this or know anything about it?

Nailebrity have them. There is a uk supplier but I can't remember the name

Are they good? Does it actually last as long?

I personally have not had any issues using them, great for repairs also
