Shop Signs????

Hi Geeks

I am looking into getting a sign for a new premises, but I havent the first idea on how much I should be expected to pay. Ideally I would like gold, 3D Letters that are mounted above the shop entrance.
How much did you pay for your signs, and is there a big price difference depending on which shop you buy from?

To be fair Jo- you're probably just best getting quotes from local companies- it really does differ a lot from company to company.

Failing that- do a bit of local research! Have a scoot around town, if you see a nice sign- pop in and ask them who did it! You'd be amazed how many small business are more than happy to help other small businesses.

defo shop around.

i made the mistake of just going with a recommended company, and not only were they rubbish...it cost £600 and I then spoke to someone who said they would charge £300 for what I had.

I have brass finish 3D lettering, backlit inside with led lights and I paid about £3000 per salon.

Remember to check with your local council if you're thinking of having something quite different to what's already up. Especially if illuminated. They're a big no-no where I am and you don't want to pay for something to have to take it down again....
