Hi guys

Years ago my husband suffered from ingrowing toe nail, the hospital operated on it but left the nail in place. Since then when his nail grows it grows very thick and hard. He used nail sissors to cut it back but they have broke on him.

Is there any good nail sissors out there to do this job?

Thank you

I think a chiropodist may be the best person to ask for advice and also to cut your husband's toe nail.

definately seek help from a podiatrist but in the mean time you can soak his feet or clip the nails after a bath so they are soft and easier to work with. use large full jaw nipper instead of traditional clippers and work gently. if will not cut soak it longer and do not try to cut it super short. trim it to a reasonable length and then file it with a medium grit and then buff to remove the sharp edges
