Hi!
I am not yet used to the manicure position...two hours and my back is killing me lol. I wondered what people found best to sit on / for the client to sit on. I found this on the internet ( pic below) does anyone use one for manicures?

I had one of those for a while, absolutely killed my knees. Whether I had it set up wrong I don't know but it was awful.

Always set your chair lower than the client, you don't want to be bending down to see the nails/hands, you want them almost at your shoulder height. Try not to lean on your arms (I'm terrible for this so have to have regular appointments at the chiropractor) and put both feet flat on the floor.

Thanks for the advice Trinity :)

I have a saddle stool and a chair type stool with a back. Both feel great. I alternate if i start feeling uncomfortable.

The saddle stool is probably my favourite x

I’ve just googled saddle stools...they look interesting, I’ve not used one before. Thanks for recommending :)
