I currently work with Calgel and my clear has run out. I've ordered some more but am awaiting delivery which will now not be until next week.
In the meantime I'm working in the salon tomorrow and have discovered today that someone has booked in for gels in the morning. I'd usually be over the moon but now I have just a scraping of clear gel in my pot!
I looked in my cupboard at home and found a pot of clear UV gel (Salon Systems Profile Gel) that a friend gave to me.
Does this gel need a base bonding thingy or can it go straight on the nail like calgel? Just wondering in case I have to use it as a last resort. Have never used this gel in my life so wouldn't really know about it as only trained and used calgel.
Sorry if this question seems a bit dumb but I'm just not sure what to do until my pot of gel comes, apart from cancelling client if i have to use a clear and can't!
