Smelly Tent

Hiya Geeks

Do you have any suggestions how to get rid of the old tan 'smell' in a portable tent? I clean it every week thoroughly (inside and out) firstly spraying tent with warm water through the gun (which partly cleans gun as well) and then wash with mild soapy warm water - it take me about 2 hours.... I then leave it to dry out completely before folding it up... it looks sparkling (which I LOVE) but when I open it up again for the first time (after cleaning) in a client's home I still get an old tan 'smell'....I feel it is very obvious but it may be just me....

This is driving me a bit mad :cry:so any suggestions would be very welcome

Spraytan does have an obviouse smell which you may not be able to get rid of, you may well just be more sensitive to it,
I take mine to the jet wash and hold onto it while my nine year old blasts it, it gives it a really good thorough clean, and is also very quick I get some paper towels from the petrol pump area and give it a wipe down to get most of the wet off, then pop it back up to fully dry in my bathroom when i get back, I dont notice it being smelly after this, maybe give it a try.xx:hug:

I stand mine in the garden, scrub it with soapy water and hose it down. I then just fold it in half a drape it over the washing line. I don't smell any tan afterwards until after I have done the first one.
It doesn't really bother me though. My clients always say 'oooh it smells nice in here' and some of them are too nervous to even notice
