Sponging gel polish?

Right ladies, I'm new to gel polish, I use gellux, gelish and ACG. I've seen some nail art designs which I want to try that look like they have been applied using a sponge (faded onto the nail rather than neat edges ) I'm wondering if I can do this with gel polish? Ta muchly in advance xx

Yep, if you place your chosen polish colours onto either plastic backed pad, or non-porous item and then pick up with a sponge, then place directly onto nail.

The method in Trinity's video is the best way to do it when using gel polish. The other method, where you put it on a sponge then apply it on the nail (and all over the finger) is ok with normal polish but an over exposure risk with gel polish products.... its also a bit of a waste of product
