Im planing on doing a package where you can have acrylic nails and spray tan done together for a set price. Would it be ok to do a set of nails and a spray tan after if i make sure the nails are covered in vaseline so that I am able to do both treatments on the same day?

Yes thats fine, as longas you cover the nails like you say there wont be a problem. Although, I personally wounldnt use vaseline, try a simple barrier cream like Aqueous or just solar oil and remember to wipe off afterwards.

Agree with what the girls already said, nails and then tan. I wipe the nails really well after the tan:)

I just apply the tan then wipe the nails over after with calguard (for calgel nails) this removes any trace of the tan.

Hi - I do tan and nails on same day all the time. I never use barrier cream on the actual nails - there is no need if your nails are sealed and I have never had any stained nails. Like the others say, a quick wipe afterwards is sufficient. I use a low cost baby wipes from Tesco. I do this on advice from both my VaniT rep and from my initial training with Nouvatan.

Thanks for all your replies :) I will just use a light barrier and use the babywipes :)

you may want to use a small 1 ounce bottle of liquid latex to brush on top of the fresh set of nails. the latex dries fast prevents penetration of any solution onto your gorgeous artwork and easily peels off at the end of the tanning session when client is finished in the dry room :)

this technique is great... you brush on nails and toes and sets you above your competition :):green:
