I was testing my spray tan gun on couch roll before i started spraying a client, nothing was coming out of the gun, then when i turned off the vacum, the tan spirted EVERYWHERE! it came out of the nozel at the front. Ive tried to tighten it, and it still happens & it also leaks
Any ideas on what i could do
Thanks

so the tan only comes out just as you switch the machine off? i would call the people you got the machine from. what type of machine is it you are using? there are loads of threads on here about tanning machines, maybe try searching the type of machine you have :D xxx

Hey, Natalie here how are you?

I would contact the company you purchased it from, was it Suntana? x

sounds like you have put the rubber pick up tube on the gun on the wrong hole !! it needs to be on the one closest to the trigger this happened to dawn !! it went every where i have now added an important information leaflet highlighting this on the machines we sell and there is a sticker on the handles on the newer suplied machines hth

So glad I found this post, this happened me today and was just about to post basically the same thing!
Checked my gun, and yes, it's on the wrong hole.
I was actually going to chuck in the tan coz it upset me so much, some spritzt onto a client's curtain (lovely new cream ones of course) and then I couldn't even do the tan!! So I had to leave it into dry cleaners and am praying they can get it out!
What do you think my chances are? x

they have modified the new 5008s they have a spring clip now on the rubber pick up tube to prevent this happening any more, if any one else reading this wants to avoid it happening to them they sell the spring clips for a few pence in most car spares shops, you put one on the gun end and one on the weighted end of the rubber pick up tube,

Great tip Steve thanks, although I don't think I'l EVER make that mistake again after today. What do you think my chances are of it coming out of the curtains? Thanks x

Is it our solution? when dawn did it 18 months ago our insurance covered it they got a specialist cleaning company in who actually got it out(thank god ) they were very expensive cream satin curtains !!

No, Xen tan :o
I have taken it to specialist steam cleaners, so I may just hope and pray! My insurance has a £100 excess fee, so prob won't be worth my while with the hassle x

this happened to me, i phoned dawn like major panicking.....

it went all over the cream, non-wipe wall in the salon, 4 coats of paint later and you can still see it a bit... lol.

Won't be making that mistake again!!!
