Spray tan not sticking?

I had a spray tan yesterday and today after washing off my tan ive noticed there is a white patch where the tan hasnt developed? I tried fixing this with some st tropez but the guide colour wont even stick! I waxed my legs 3 days ago im thinking it might of taken the top layer of skin off.. How can i make the tan stick??!

Is the skin shiny or maybe a little sore where you've waxed? If so I wouldn't apply self tan over broken skin until it has healed x
