Help me please!! I have one employee who earns £175.44 per week and she is pregnant. I have never had a pregnant employee before and I am also pregnant! So now I am stressing out-how does maternity pay work?! Will I be liable for her pay or will it just be statutory mat pay?
We are both going to be going on mat leave the same time as well which means I need to employ a new member of staff to cover this time!
Can anyone offer me any advice please? Thank God I have a few months to sort this out!
