Stick on masquerade mask?

My friend has just announced for her birthday night out we have to wear masquerade masks.
Instead of buying a mask I'd like to try doing my own with makeup, BUT I have no closeup vision in one eye so drawing a mask on would be too hard.
Is there such a thing as a thin skin like mask I can put on directly to my face and embellish with gems/makeup etc?

I don't know about skin like masks but vintageortacky has some really cool costume make-up videos on youtube. Some look fairly easy. HTH and have fun at the party!
